Job summary

Recruit4staff is seeking a skilled Pipe Welder for an established engineering and fabrication company. The role involves TIG welding on stainless and carbon steel pipework, following technical drawings to achieve precise welds, with quality inspection of finished work.

Core hours are 7am–3:30pm Monday to Thursday, 7am–12:00pm on Friday, with overtime paid at enhanced rates. Commutable from Skelmersdale, Warrington, Ormskirk and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Coded TIG welder for 6G on stainless and carbon steel.
• Experience with steel fabrication and reading technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Welds pipework to precise standards following drawings.
• Performs quality inspection of welded joints to ensure high standards.
• Works in a workshop environment with focus on welding accuracy and structural integrity.

Job Role: Working in their workshop, the Pipe Welder will carry out TIG welding on stainless steel and carbon steel pipework, following technical drawings to complete precision welds.
