Job summary

BFE Solutions are recruiting an experienced Pipe Fitter Welder for an established engineering company in Ashton-under-Lyne. The role requires hands-on pipe fitting and welding, with particular experience in MMA/Stick welding, and with MIG used where necessary.

Strong experience with pipe, reading drawings and working to specifications is essential, plus prior industrial fabrication or engineering background. Interviews available immediately.

Qualifications

• Strong previous experience working with pipe.
• Proven MMA / Stick welding experience.
• Experience as both a welder and pipe fitter.
• Ability to work accurately from relevant drawings and specifications.
• Previous industrial fabrications / engineering experience.

We are looking for somebody with substantial hands-on pipe fitting and pipe welding experience, with particular experience using MMA / Stick welding.

This is not predominantly a structural steel, RSJ, flat bar or plate welding position.

The Role

• MMA / Stick welding
• Working predominantly with mild steel
• Measuring, preparing, fitting and alligning pipework
• MIG may also be used where required

What we are looking for

• Proven MMA / Stick welding experience
• Experience as both a welder and pipe fitter

Hours

• Monday - Thursday: 07:45 - 16:30
• Friday: 07:45 - 13:45
• 39 hours per week
• Paid breaks

Pay

• Up to £18.00 per hour, dependent on experience
