Job summary

MTrec Ltd Technical is seeking a time-served pipefitter to assist with installation of engineering solutions on new and existing plant. You will read and interpret drawings and fabricate pipework and components as required.

Based on site, you will monitor boiler installations, weld, braze and solder where needed, and ensure compliance with health and safety practices. A good pension and solid career prospects are on offer.

Qualifications

• Must be time served.
• Proven experience in pipe fitting and fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Good housekeeping.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
• Ability to work accurately and with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Install and assist with engineering solutions on new and existing plant.
• Install and, when required, design pipework for utilities.
• Fabricate components, jigs and fixtures as needed.
• Monitor boiler installations and carry out daily and weekly tests.
• Liaise with production to minimise disruption to schedules.
• Weld, braze and solder as required to complete work.
