Job summary

Tradebe Environmental Services is looking for a skilled Pipefitter to join the maintenance team in the UK. You will install and fabricate mechanical pipework, conduct maintenance, and respond to breakdowns to minimise downtime.

You will log activities in CMMS and ensure adherence to environmental, health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will be time-served with Level 3 apprenticeship, possess or be willing to obtain an FLT licence, and may hold an ECITB Diploma in Pipefitting.

Qualifications

• Time-served Pipefitter status or a recognised apprenticeship (Level 3).
• FLT Licence (Desirable).
• ECITB Diploma in Installing Engineering Construction Plant and Systems - Pipefitting (SCQF Level 6).

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install mechanical pipework and fittings according to site specifications.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdowns.
• Log work orders using Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Ensure full compliance with strict environmental, health, and safety laws.

You'll play a key role in the installation, fabrication, maintenance and repair of piping systems, working as part of a skilled team to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standards, while meeting key project milestones. The primary goal is troubleshooting breakdowns and ensuring planned preventative maintenance is completed efficiently and to a high standard, ensuring minimal operational downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and install mechanical pipework and fittings according to site specifications.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdowns.
• Utilise Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to log work orders.
• Ensure full compliance with strict environmental, health, and safety laws.

Essential:

• Time-served Pipefitter status or a recognised apprenticeship (Level 3)

Desirable:
