Job summary

Donard Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a hybrid, full-time Functional Specialist role across Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Paramedics. You will conduct unbiased, comprehensive assessments for the Government’s disability allowance (PIP) and deliver face-to-face, virtual and paper-based reports, with time for CPD and evidence review.

The salary starts at £39,500 with potential to rise to £40,500 on DWP approval; eligible for a bonus scheme based on quality and

Qualifications

• Qualified healthcare professional (Nurse, Mental Health Nurse, OT, PT or Paramedic) with registration.
• 1+ year post-qualification experience.
• Valid registration on NMC or HCPC without restrictions.
• Excellent communication skills and strong IT literacy.

Responsibilities

• Manage caseloads from end to end including face-to-face and virtual assessments.
• Autonomously manage cases to conclusion with greater job variety.
• Assess the full range of health conditions and disabilities affecting claimants.
