Job summary

Astrid & Miyu is seeking a skilled Piercer to join our Fenwick Newcastle studio. You’ll empower customers to bring their dream curations to life with artistry, precision and heart. With at least 1 year experience, you’ll champion safety, maintain spotless hygiene, and contribute to a warm, expert-led team on the shop floor.

Responsibilities

• Champion safety and hygiene, ensuring studio cleanliness and maintaining supplies.
• Inspire customers with styling advice and execute precise piercings with attention to detail.
• Host on the shop floor, creating a warm, inclusive space where customers feel seen and cared for.
• Lead on the floor, sharing piercing expertise with customers and team to elevate energy.

How You'll Drive Success

• Champion safety and excellence, taking full ownership of the cleanliness and hygiene of your studio, while proactively managing and maintaining piercing supplies to the highest standard


• Inspire our community with styling advice, executing precise and aesthetic piercings - all with a meticulous eye for detail and a genuine love for what you do


• Host from the Heart, creating a warm, intentional space where every customer feels seen, valued and cared for, while holding space with empathy and compassion, especially during sensitive moments


• Lead on the shop floor, sharing your piercing expertise and passion with both customers and your team, inspiring trust and elevating the energy around you

What You'll Need To Thrive

• This role is suitable for any Piercers with at least 1 year experience in a studio looking for that next step in their journey

The Interview Process And Candidate Experience

• Values Interview: a 30 min video call with our Talent Team to get to know you better, learning more about your journey, what motivates you and how you like to work.


• In-Store Technical Interview - you'll meet one of our Piercer Mentors for a Studio Set-Up & Piercing Demo, alongside your Store Manager who will chat through your experience, skill-set and what you're looking for in your next role.
