Job summary

Astrid & Miyu in Newcastle upon Tyne seeks a Piercer with at least 1 year of studio experience. You’ll own cleanliness, manage supplies, and deliver precise, aesthetic piercings with care and empathy, engaging each client with warmth.

Qualifications

• Champion safety and hygiene of the studio and manage piercing supplies to a high standard.
• Inspire clients with styling advice and deliver precise, aesthetic piercings with care.
• Host from the heart by creating a warm, welcoming space for every customer.
• Lead on the shop floor, sharing piercing expertise with customers and teammates.
• Brand ambassador who embodies our values and maintains a positive, empathetic attitude.

• Our studios are fully disposable, aseptic, and stocked with high-quality tools from top suppliers like Probodyart and Stiletto


• We're a growing brand committed to continuous learning. We work to APP standards, and invest in your growth and development. From ongoing education and courses, to seminars with industry experts like Olly Todd. You'll join a team of passionate piercers where your craft is truly celebrated and your expertise is valued


• Pierce with premium implant-grade jewellery, internally threaded titanium and 14ct solid white and yellow gold, along with lab-grown diamonds and semi-precious stones

How you'll drive success:

• Champion safety and excellence, taking full ownership of the cleanliness and hygiene of your studio, while proactively managing and maintaining piercing supplies to the highest standard


• Inspire our community with styling advice, executing precise and aesthetic piercings - all with a meticulous eye for detail and a genuine love for what you do


• Host from the Heart, creating a warm, intentional space where every customer feels seen, valued and cared for, while holding space with empathy and compassion, especially during sensitive moments


• Lead on the shop floor, sharing your piercing expertise and passion with both customers and your team, inspiring trust and elevating the energy around you


• This role is suitable for any Piercers with at least 1 year experience in a studio looking for that next step in their journey
