Willow Ward Wirral PICU is seeking a Clinical Ward Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team in a six-month fixed-term role. The post requires a nursing degree and NMC registration in Mental Health or Learning Disability, with Band 6 level experience and strong leadership in clinical practice.

Qualificações

• Degree in nursing or equivalent.
• Evidence of continuing professional development.
• NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (Mental Health/Learning Disability)

Responsabilidades

• Overall operational and clinical responsibility for safe, compassionate care on Willow Ward Wirral PICU.
• Line management and clinical leadership of nursing staff and the multidisciplinary team.
• Ensuring person-centred care meets quality and safety standards, working with service users, carers, families and external partners.
• Leading staff in evidence-based practice, with regular supervision and appraisal.
• Managing administrative and operational resources cost-effectively and evaluating the standard of service.
• Co-ordinating multidisciplinary working and continuity of care across disciplines and services.
• Carrying out nursing procedures to a safe standard in line with the NMC Code of Conduct.
• Supporting the 6Cs in the practice and delivery of care on the ward.
