Job summary

Boughey Distribution in Wardle, Nantwich is hiring for a warehouse operative on a 4 on 4 off day shift, 6am–6pm. You will pick orders, pack, dispatch, and complete paperwork while complying with health and safety policies.

The role is physically demanding and requires a positive team player with a hands-on approach; prior warehousing experience is advantageous. We offer weekly pay, enhanced overtime, holidays, training, and progression opportunities.

Due to continued growth, we are growing our warehouse teams across our Wardle, Nantwich site: Permanent position working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern day shifts 6am to 6pm.

Day to Day

• Picking orders from pick lists and locate stock as and when required.
• Packing orders ready for dispatch.
• Dispatching goods to our customers.
• Completing all paperwork and documents as required.
• Receiving, checking and storing products from suppliers in a safe and secure manner.
• Report all shortages and damages found to the Team Leader immediately.
• Be aware of and adhere to the Company’s Health & Safety Policy, taking responsibility for the Health and Safety and welfare of yourself and others

What will you bring?

• Previous experience in a warehousing role would be advantageous.
• Comfortable on your feet – this is a hands‑on role that involves lifting and carrying.
• A team player with a positive attitude towards work.
• Understanding and appreciation for safe manual handling practices and is Health & Safety aware.
