Job summary

First Call Contract Services is recruiting Picker/Packer Operatives and drivers for a long-term role in St Ives, Cambridgeshire. The client is moving to Cambridge for 8 weeks due to refurbishment, then returning. No prior experience is required as full training and support are provided.

Typical hours are 07:00–15:00, five days in seven, with rotas in advance. Duties include picking pre-made dishes, packing them, and delivering orders to schools, care homes and hospitals.

Qualifications

• DBS check within 4 weeks
• Clean driving licence or max 6 points

• Packer – restock the packed dishes, load on to the vehicles

Picker/Packer and driver Operatives – St Ives, Cambridgeshire

Working pattern:

• 07.00 to 15.00
• 5 days in 7
• Rotas in advance

Hourly rate:

• Mid week £12.92 per hour
• Saturday £18.16 per hour
• Sunday £23.53 per hour
• Paid weekly

Picker & Packer Operative, plus driving main duties:

• Picker – pick pre made dishes to order
• Packer – restock the packed dishes, load on to the vehicles
• Driving the orders to schools, care homes and hospitals
