Job summary

Ottolenghi HQ in London is seeking a reliable Pick and Pack Operative to join our Webstore team. You will pick and pack customer orders accurately, label parcels, and assist with stock checks to keep our cheerful delivery service running smoothly.

This is a temporary role ending 31 December 2026, with hours 9:00am–5:00pm and December shift variations, including weekends when required. We offer a competitive salary from £50,000 per year, staff meals, discount, healthcare, and development

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
• Team player with good organization.
• Willing to work different December shifts, including weekends.
• Previous warehouse picking/packing is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Pack hampers carefully to a high standard.
• Check and label parcels correctly, ready for dispatch.
• Support with stock takes and maintain stock levels.
• Keep packing and work areas clean, tidy and organized.
• Follow procedures to maintain quality and accuracy.
• Work to meet daily order and dispatch deadlines.
• Support the wider warehouse team when needed.

We are now looking for a talented Pick and Pack Operative to join our team

What You’ll Do

• Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Pack hampers carefully and to a high standard
• Check and label parcels correctly, ready for dispatch
• Support with stock takes and help maintain accurate stock levels
• Keep the packing and work areas clean, tidy and organised
• Follow company procedures to maintain quality and accuracy
• Work efficiently to meet daily order and dispatch deadlines
• Support the wider warehouse team where needed

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands‑on environment
• Able to follow instructions and work well as part of a team
• Organised and able to manage tasks efficiently
• Flexible and happy to work different shift patterns during December, including weekends where required
• Previous warehouse, picking or packing experience is desirable, but not essential

Working hours:

Contract: Temporary, ending 31 December 2026

Hours: 9:00am–5:00pm, with different shift patterns during December. Weekend work may be required.
