Job summary

HCB Solicitors is seeking an organised individual for the Personal Injury Department across multiple offices including Leigh, Warrington, Westhoughton and Whitefield. The role focuses on accidents at work, road traffic accidents, clinical negligence with certain restrictions, and defendant uninsured cases.

Strong calendar and portal skills are essential. Applicants should have at least 3 years PQE and be self-sufficient, organised, and capable of working across branch offices with minimal

Job description

The Department

We are looking for an organised individual to join our personal injury department and develop positive, effective working relationships with their colleagues. Work is sourced firm wide. Offices available to work from: Leigh, Warrington, Westhoughton, Whitefield.

The work

• a) Personal injury
  • accidents at work (but generally not industrial disease)
  • public liability accidents (i.e. trips & slips, etc.)
  • road traffic accidents (but generally not whiplash)
• b) clinical negligence, but not cases against therapists; or mental health practitioners where there is no physical injury
• c) defendant cases (ie uninsured),

Requirements

Must be computer literate and know how to use:

• Claim management software
• Claims Portal
• Court Portal
• High Court Portal

Candidate must be at least 3 years PQE

Candidates must be self-sufficient and well organised as work is via the branch offices and personal reputation, not via paying referral fees.
