Job summary

Hcb-Solicitors is seeking an organised individual to join its personal injury department, developing positive, effective working relationships with colleagues. Work is sourced firm-wide and offices are available to work from in Leigh, Warrington, Westhoughton and Whitefield.

The role involves handling personal injury cases such as accidents at work, public liability and road traffic incidents, including clinical negligence in limited scope, and defendant uninsured cases.

Qualifications

• Must be computer literate and know how to use the listed portals and software.
• Candidate must be at least 3 years PQE.
• Candidates must be self-sufficient and well organised; work is branch-based and relies on personal reputation.

Responsibilities

• Manage personal injury caseload including accidents at work, public liability and road traffic incidents.
• Handle clinical negligence cases within the stated constraints and defendant uninsured cases.
• Utilise portal systems for claims processing and documentation.

The Department

We are looking for an organised individual to join our personal injury department and develop positive, effective working relationships with their colleagues. Work is sourced firm wide. Offices available to work from: Leigh, Warrington, Westhoughton, Whitefield.

The work

• a) Personal injury
  • accidents at work (but generally not industrial disease)
  • public liability accidents (i.e. trips & slips, etc.)
  • road traffic accidents (but generally not whiplash)
• b) clinical negligence, but not cases against therapists; or mental health practitioners where there is no physical injury
• c) defendant cases (ie uninsured),

Must be computer literate and know how to use:

• Claim management software
• Claims Portal
• Court Portal
• High Court Portal

Candidate must be at least 3 years PQE

Candidates must be self-sufficient and well organised as work is via the branch offices and personal reputation, not via paying referral fees.
