Job summary

Hcb-Solicitors is seeking an organised individual to join the personal injury department across our Leigh, Warrington, Westhoughton and Whitefield offices. The role involves handling client cases sourced firm-wide and developing strong working relationships with colleagues.

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3 years PQE, be self-sufficient, and experienced with claim management software, Claims Portal, Court Portal and High Court Portal. Hybrid working after probation will apply.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have at least 3 years PQE in personal injury or related fields.
• Must be organised and able to work across multiple branch offices without reliance on referrals.
• Ability to manage cases and client communications in a professional, timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Handle personal injury cases including accidents at work, public liability and road traffic incidents (excluding whiplash).
• Assist with clinical negligence matters where there is physical injury, excluding therapy-related suits.
• Manage defendant uninsured cases and cooperate with colleagues across offices.

The Department

We are looking for an organised individual to join our personal injury department and develop positive, effective working relationships with their colleagues. Work is sourced firm wide. Offices available to work from: Leigh, Warrington, Westhoughton, Whitefield.

The work

• a) Personal injury
  • accidents at work (but generally not industrial disease)
  • public liability accidents (i.e. trips & slips, etc.)
  • road traffic accidents (but generally not whiplash)
• b) clinical negligence, but not cases against therapists; or mental health practitioners where there is no physical injury
• c) defendant cases (ie uninsured),

Must be computer literate and know how to use:

• Claim management software
• Claims Portal
• Court Portal
• High Court Portal

Candidate must be at least 3 years PQE

Candidates must be self-sufficient and well organised as work is via the branch offices and personal reputation, not via paying referral fees.
