Job summary

Tayntons is seeking a capable administrator to support the Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence team in Gloucester. You will handle new inquiries, set up files, and liaise with clients on PI matters.

The role includes ongoing case management, drafting documents, and coordinating MOJ portal activities to ensure timely progress. The position requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both as part of a team and independently, with excellent communication

Responsibilities

• Dealing with all new enquiries to take the relevant information for assessment of merits;
• Setting up new files;
• Advising and liaising with clients on personal injury matters;
• Ongoing case management including record management, management of expert appointments and instruction, instruction of counsel where appropriate, drafting CFA documents;
• Management of cases through the MOJ portal, including uploading files, submitting settlement packs, requesting interim payments, starting stage 3 proceedings;
• Drafting legal documents including Claim Notification Forms, Claim Forms, Particulars of Claim, Schedules of Loss, Witness Statements and interim applications;
• Arranging and attending conferences with clients, experts and counsel as appropriate;
• Carrying out legal research;
• Management of After the Event Insurance applications for both PI and CN claims;
• Client relationship management and keeping files well organised and property updated;
• Diary management for the PI/CN team, including Court and limitation dates;
• Providing assistance to the team fee earners in the effective management of their case files;
