A new and exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Physiotherapy team as a Physiotherapy Assistant. We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and reliable individual to work in this full time role within our Physiotherapy teams primarily within the outpatient setting.
The Fitzwilliam Hospital Physiotherapy Department is a friendly and forward-thinking department with a continued in-service training programme and a focus on developing staff; by providing clinical support from experienced staff, support to continue professional and personal development. We therefore expect our candidates to have a positive can do attitude, possess a desire to learn and to be integral into the ongoing development of our service.
This post requires the successful candidate to undertake specific support work to aid the rehabilitation and discharge of patients as directed by set standards and protocols or under supervision and guidance from qualified therapists and Senior Technicians. To work unsupervised, reporting back patient progress and informing the physiotherapist of any problems. To support the therapy team with non-clinical tasks, including equipment, housekeeping and administration tasks.
