Job summary

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board in North Wales is hiring a Band 4 Physiotherapy Technical Instructor to support inpatients at Denbigh and Ruthin Community Hospitals. You will manage your own caseload under supervision, focusing on rehabilitation and movement techniques within physiotherapy.

The role involves assisting qualified physiotherapists, implementing exercise and rehabilitation programmes, and working with carers and health staff. Welsh-speaking ability is desirable and welcomed.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level III/BTEC is required.
• Knowledge of complex conditions.
• Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
• Previous NHS experience.

Responsibilities

• To assist the qualified physiotherapist in the overall physiotherapy management of patients in collaboration with carers, support workers, health staff and agencies.
• Under the direction and guidance of the qualified physiotherapist, to manage and be responsible for their own clinical caseload of clients, following therapeutic programmes in order to improve their physical abilities and to minimise disabilities.
• To work independently using own initiative, within level of competence.
