Job summary

Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Physiotherapy Support Worker (Band 4) to join the South Kerrier Community Rehabilitation Team, based at Helston Community Hospital. You will work under physiotherapists to triage, assess, treat and discharge patients within your caseload, supporting a multidisciplinary team.

This community-based role requires travel across Cornwall to various locations; experience in inpatient/community settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths or equivalent requirement.
• NVQ 4 in Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification/experience or Rep Level 4 Fitness Professional.
• IELTS unless qualification taken in English.
• Evidence of recent study (e.g., strength and conditioning, motivational interviewing, health coaching).

Responsibilities

• Triage, assessment, treatment and discharge within your caseload under supervision.
• Interpret information to identify problems and patient needs; set realistic goals.
• Maintain excellent organisational skills in a care/therapeutic setting.
• Support MDT working and CPD through supervision and training.
