Job summary

We are looking for a qualified physiotherapist to join our well respected outpatient team at Bodmin hospital, in North Cornwall Locality. The role offers opportunities for professional development, regular supervision and in-house training with funding for external courses where appropriate.

The successful candidate will provide high standard musculoskeletal physiotherapy services, undertake autonomous MSK assessments and contribute to a supportive, patient-centered care environment established

• Qualified physiotherapist joining the outpatient team
• Commitment to professional development and CPD support
• Experience in musculoskeletal outpatient settings (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Provide a high standard physiotherapy service to the Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy service.
• Perform musculoskeletal assessment of patients, formulate a diagnosis and treatment plan, and carry out this plan as part of an autonomous team.
• Participate in regular supervision and in-service training.

An opportunity has arisen for a qualified physiotherapist to join our well respected physiotherapy outpatient team in the North Cornwall Locality, working at Bodmin hospital.

Our service provides out-patient physiotherapy to the local community accepting referrals from GPs, Consultants and Allied Health Professionals, as well as Patient Self-referrals. We have a strong commitment to professional development, regular supervision and in-service training at a local and countywide level.

We are looking for a capable, motivated and flexible colleague to join our team on a full time basis.

Interviews will be held face to face at Bodmin hospital and will include a practical element. We are therefore unable to offer a virtual option.

Main duties of the job

To provide a high standard physiotherapy service to the Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy service.

1. 1. Performs musculoskeletal assessment of patients and from this formulates a diagnosis and treatment plan and carries out this plan as an autonomous practitioner.
