A leading healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a Rehabilitation Practitioner for Musculoskeletal Out-patients. The role involves assisting physiotherapists, modifying treatment programmes, and leading patient rehabilitation efforts within a care-focused environment. Base: St George's Hospital (may be required to work at any of the Trust's sites)
Accountable to: Operational Manager/Service Manager
Reports to: An assigned Senior Band 6 or Band 7 physiotherapist as line manager for supervision
Responsible for: The rehabilitation practitioner will work under guidance of qualified physiotherapists to undertake assessment and management of selected patients within St George's Healthcare NHS Trust and carry out duties supporting the smooth functioning of the service.
Patients, supervising physiotherapist, clinical team leads, administrative staff, referring clinicians, families / carers, GP's, community services, statutory and voluntary agencies, and MDT colleagues.
