Job summary

NHS Professionals Limited is recruiting a Physiotherapy Assistant Practitioner to join the Therapies Department at Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust in Harlow. You will assist with assessment, implementation and delivery of physiotherapy programmes for elderly inpatients under supervision, contributing to rehabilitation and patient independence as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills.
• Experience as a Therapy Assistant in an acute hospital setting.
• Foundation Degree knowledge or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prioritise workload effectively within acute hospital settings.
• Work independently within competence and seek guidance when needed.
• Collaborate with Physiotherapists and wider team in ward-based activities.
• Apply rehabilitation techniques safely and in line with clinical guidance.
• Support departmental administrative duties and day-to-day running of the service.
• Maintain a clean, safe clinical environment and well-organised treatment areas.
