Job summary

Barchester Healthcare in the United Kingdom is seeking a Physiotherapy Assistant to support the Physiotherapist and help residents achieve their best physical condition.

You will provide individualised physiotherapy in line with current practice and perform basic administrative tasks to maintain accurate records and an efficient service. An NVQ2 in Health and Social Care is required or willingness to work towards it, with neuro-rehab experience advantageous.

Job description

THE ROLE

As a Physiotherapy Assistant at a Barchester care home, you will work under the guidance of the Physiotherapist to make sure our residents get the most of out of life by helping them to reach their best possible physical condition. We’ll look to you to provide individualised quality physiotherapy in line with current and evidence-based professional practice, as well our company policies.

You will be required to provide basic administrative tasks to maintain accurate records and an efficient service. You are an empathetic and passionate individual with excellent communication and relationship-building skills who can demonstrate a good knowledge of anatomy and physiology. An interest in the subject field both within and outside the work environment is preferred. Previous experience in a neuro-rehab environment or similar would be advantageous.

ABOUT YOU
