Job summary

Sirona care & health is seeking a Band 4 Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant for the South Gloucestershire Physiotherapy team, based at Cossham Hospital. You will support the team by delivering treatment programmes and running exercise groups under supervision, while providing clerical support to the team.

Qualifications

• Level 3 exercise professional qualification and knowledge of MSK conditions.
• English and Maths GCSE at grade A–C or equivalent.
• Sports/science therapy degree or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Carry a caseload and implement treatment plans delegated by a physiotherapist.
• Progress or adjust exercise programmes within required parameters.
• Provide holistic advice to promote self-management and prognosis.
• Deliver exercise groups, e.g., ESCAPE-Pain, with/without direct supervision.
• Be first point of contact in absence of the physiotherapist and escalate as needed.
• Manage issuing, ordering and training on safe use of physiotherapy equipment.
