Job summary

gaia recruitment seeks a HCPC-registered Physiotherapist for a Physiotherapy Assessor role in London. You will conduct Work Capability Assessments, evaluate health conditions, and produce evidence-based reports for the DWP. Training is provided with a clear progression path.

Starting salary is £51,582 with a 10% bonus on completion of training, and potential to reach about £60,500 including the uplift. Mon-Fri daytime hours, no nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• HCPC-registered Physiotherapist required.
• Minimum 12 months post-registration experience.
• Strong written communication and clinical reasoning skills.
• No prior assessment experience needed — full training provided.
• Note: not suitable for graduates or those on certain visas.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Work Capability Assessments for benefit claimants.
• Produce clear, evidence-based reports for the DWP.
