Job summary

Active Care Group in Leicester is seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join their neurological rehabilitation teams at Kingly House & Kingly Terrace. The role is part-time, 22.5 hours across three days, with flexible working considered and travel allowance between sites.

You will provide assessment, treatment, and management of neurology-related challenges, maintain documentation, and work with senior staff to deliver life-changing outcomes.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration is required.
• 2 years’ postgraduate work experience.
• Full UK Driving License and access to a car.
• Experience of working within a neurological rehabilitation setting.
• Enhanced DBS may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, treatment, and management of challenges to physical abilities.
• Function as a key therapist to coordinate and manage rehabilitation timetables and programmes.
• Ensure accurate documentation of assessment, treatment, and outcome measures.
• Be a team player and support clients and their families.
• Communicate effectively with people with cognitive impairment and communication difficulties.
• Liaise with family, carers, and others to meet client needs to a high standard.
• Receive support from senior staff with protected training and peer support time.

We are looking for an experienced Physiotherapist to join our friendly and supportive teams in Leicester. This will be working at our Kingly House and Kingly Terrace Neurological Rehabilitation services. We’re looking for a dedicated professional with at least 2 years’ experience who is motivated to work across all areas of neurological rehabilitation. What you’ll be working:

This role is 22.5 hours, 3 days a week. We understand the need for a positive work, life balance and would be happy to discuss flexible working for the right candidate. Additionally, a travel allowance may be available to support commuting between the sites.

What you’ll be doing:

• Provide assessment, treatment, and management of challenges to physical abilities
• Function as a key therapist to ensure active co-ordination and management of the therapeutic timetables and programmes to achieve the client’s agreed rehabilitation goals
• Ensure accurate documentation of assessment, treatment, and outcome measures
• Be a great team player and be willing to go that extra mile for your clients and their family
• Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with people with cognitive impairment and communication difficulties
• Liaise with family, carers, and significant others where appropriate to ensure client’s needs are met to a high standard
• You will be supported by experienced and skilled senior staff, and have protected training, CPD and peer support time within your job

What you’ll have:

• HCPC registration
• 2 years’ postgraduate work experience
• Full UK Driving License and access to a car
• Experience of working within a neurological rehabilitation setting
• Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS
