Job summary

The Injured Jockeys Fund in Malton (Jack Berry House) is seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our dedicated team. This full-time role (37.5 hours, Monday–Friday) offers a varied caseload from acute to long-term injuries and a chance to make a meaningful difference for elite sports people.

You will be HCPC registered with a Physiotherapy degree and contribute to multidisciplinary care, case management, and the development of high-quality rehabilitation services across our centres.

Hours:

37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, no weekend or evening commitment. Applications for Part Time Hours will be considered.

£40k – £46k dependant on experience

With three rehabilitation centres and a regional hub now established in the UK, the Injured Jockeys Fund is a charity whose vision and mission is to improve the lives of injured jockeys, past and present, and their families. This is an exciting role, based at Jack Berry House in Malton, for an experienced and motivated Physiotherapist to join our passionate and dedicated team.

You will utilise your considerable experience to manage a varied caseload, ranging from those with acute traumatic injuries, to those with long term or life changing injuries. Jack Berry House is a warm and friendly, professional rehabilitation facility where teamwork, compassion, and person-centred care are at the heart of everything we do. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will have time to deliver creative individualised treatment programmes utilising top-level diagnostic equipment, a well-equipped gym and hydrotherapy pool. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent) and be HCPC registered, they will have excellent interpersonal skills, be a team player, and have the ability to efficiently manage their own clinical diary.

• Support the strategic development of clinical services to enhance rehabilitation outcomes and service delivery across the Injured Jockeys Fund.
• Contribute to the continuous development of our services and promote the centre as a national hub of excellence.
