Job summary

St Joseph's Hospital is seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join the inpatient team in Newport. You will perform assessments, deliver treatments, and support patient rehabilitation within a multidisciplinary setting.

The role requires HCPC and CSP membership, a BSc in Physiotherapy, and an interest in research and audit. The position involves evenings and weekends and offers access to pension, private health insurance for you and a family member, and other staff benefits.

Qualifications

  • HCPC & CSP Membership
  • Completion of student placements in the MSK field
  • Competence in the management of an inpatient and inpatient Physiotherapy service

  • Good understanding of the current challenges facing the current health economy and implications for MSK therapies
  • Good working knowledge of all areas of clinical governance

Area: Centre for Clinical Physiotherapy (Inpatients)

Responsible to: Physiotherapy Manager

Hours: 30 hours per week (including evenings and weekends)

As our Physiotherapist (Inpatients), you will be instrumental in supporting patients' recovery and wellbeing through expert assessment, treatment and rehabilitation. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across the hospital to deliver outstanding patient care, while contributing to the continuous improvement and development of our physiotherapy services.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Physiotherapist to join our inpatient physiotherapy team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality assessment, treatment and rehabilitation to patients across a range of inpatient specialties. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will support patients throughout their recovery, promote independence, and contribute to the delivery of safe, effective and evidence-based physiotherapy services.
