Job summary

HCRG Care Group is recruiting a Band 5 Physiotherapist to join the Rapid Response and Intermediate Care Team, delivering community and inpatient rehabilitation at Gravesham Community Hospital.

You will work alongside Physiotherapists and collaborate with Occupational Therapy, Nursing and Support Worker colleagues, with opportunities for rotation and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physiotherapy and HCPC registration required.
• Full driving licence and access to a car.
• Flexible to work across specialities and locations.
• Good IT skills and knowledge of MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Undertake 6-month rotations into Intermediate Care, Rapid Response and on the In-patient Rehabilitation Unit
• Complete holistic initial assessments with patients
• Devise treatment plans in line with patient's goals
• Liaise with family members/relatives and carers
• Implement and deliver treatment interventions
• Complete follow up review visits with patients
• Delegate to support worker colleagues
• Attend and participating in clinical meetings, team meetings and in-service training

Job description

We're looking for a passionate and dynamic Band 5 Physiotherapist to join our exciting Rapid Response and Intermediate Care Team to work in the community and in-patient rehabilitation unit. The Physiotherapist would be working closely with the team of Physiotherapists as well as working collaboratively with our Occupational Therapy, Nursing and Support Worker colleagues.

The service operates 7 days a week 8am - 8pm, and so includes weekend and bank holiday working.

The Ideal Candidate

• This is an opportunity to put yourDegree in Physiotherapyto great use.
• You will have a full driving license with access to a car, you will bemotivating, innovative and adaptable, with the ability to work flexibly across specialities as need arises, holding the HCPC (Physiotherapist) registration.
• With strong communication and organisation skills, and a flexible approach you will ensure delivery of positive experiences to patients at every stage of theirhealthcare journey.
• If you are a final year student due to qualify, we can also look to support you with our preceptorship scheme that we offer where we support you into the team within the first year of your qualification.
• You will also need to be confident using IT systems and be able to demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel.
