Weare looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed band 6 Physiotherapist tobe based at Evesham Community Hospital. Our team covers 7 GP surgeries situatedin the beautiful countryside of Worcestershire.

The team includes Nurses, Physiotherapists,Occupational Therapists, Health Care Assistants, Advanced ClinicalPractitioners, Nursing Associates and Administrators who all work together alongsideour GP partners as part of our Multidisciplinary Team approach to supportpeople in their home environment

This is a full time role

Main duties of the job

The role will require:

Working flexibly to provide theservice delivery need across the local area working 37.5hrs per week

Job responsibilities

Behaveconsistently with the values and beliefs of the organisation and promote theseon a day-to-day basis.

Act as line manager to junior staff and assistantsincluding undertaking the annual staff appraisal and development reviews forthese staff.

Work as an autonomous practitioner within anintegrated team providing timely and expert professional assessment andtreatment interventions to patients either in their own homes or othercommunity settings. This will be achieved through a combination of hands-onexpert clinical skills and knowledge as a Physiotherapist to treat, educate andsupport patients and by working with patients and their families to assess,plan and implement appropriate care plans and treatment.

Provide case management for a designated caseload ofpatients who have immediate and / or complex care needs.

Undertakethe comprehensive assessment and diagnosis of patients including those with ahighly complex presentation, using investigative and analytical skills.Formulate individualised management and treatment plans using clinicalreasoning.

Qualifications
  • Degree / diploma in Physiotherapy
  • HCPC registration
  • Evidence of relevant post graduate courses / Continual Professional Development maintained in portfolio
  • I understand that I will be asked to provide original certificates to verify my qualifications at point of offer.
  • Relevant validated clinical courses
Knowledge
  • A range of evidence-based Physiotherapy clinical skills and knowledge appropriate to the role
  • A good level of knowledge in a wide range of physical and mental health conditions
  • Knowledge of rehabilitation concepts and services
Skills & Abilities
  • Ability to challenge poor behaviour
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English in both verbal and written formats
  • Awareness of scope of practice
  • Excellent interpersonal and team working skills
  • High level of clinical skills
Experience
  • A range of post graduate experience including work in a variety of specialities
  • Experience of caseload management and prioritisation

  • Experience within relevant clinical field
