Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 6 Physiotherapist to join our Musculoskeletal Outpatient Physiotherapy Service within Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The service offers specialized MSK outpatient physiotherapy across twenty clinic sites, serving diverse local communities. Referrals are accepted from GPs, ACPs, Allied Health Professionals, and patients themselves.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a patient caseload in a supportive team environment.
• Supervise junior staff and students.
• Participate in service development initiatives and audits.
• Potential rotation through Pain Management Service.
• Contribute to clinical groups and CPD activities.
• Develop leadership skills by supervising junior staff.
• Engage in research and clinical trials.

Candidate Requirements

• Substantial postgraduate experience in outpatient MSK physiotherapy.
• Previous NHS experience preferred.
• Up-to-date knowledge and evidence of CPD in MSK physiotherapy.
• Enthusiastic and passionate about patient care.

Additional Information

Operating hours are from 7am to 7pm with flexible working options. You will be assigned a Band 7 mentor and have access to advanced clinical practitioners and research activities. Opportunities for personal development, clinical leadership, and involvement in service projects are available.
