Ideal for a recent Physics Graduate looking to develop a career in secondary education

A Physics Cover Supervisor is needed at a mixed comprehensive secondary school and sixth form in South East London. This is a full-time, long-term position with scope to go permanent.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: setting up Physics lessons in the absence of the class teacher, managing pupil behaviour effectively, and providing organised handovers for staff.

The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, good organisational skills, and effective communication abilities.

The pay rate ranges from £82.14 to £130 per day, depending on qualifications and experience.

The School

The school is a 'Good' rated mixed comprehensive with sixth form, for pupils aged 11-19, located in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. Established in 1971, it has nearly 2000 pupils, with over 80 languages spoken by staff and students. Facilities include an Olympic legacy sports setup, a shared sports centre, and a new building opened in 2011. The school has received Artsmark Platinum and PTI Awards. Requirements

Applicants can be recent Physics graduates or experienced Physics Cover Supervisors, UK-trained or overseas-trained. Essential requirements include:
