Summary

Physical Therapists at Maine Medical Center perform evaluations, develop plans, and carry out treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease, injury, or loss of a body part. They help patients reach their maximum performance in accordance with the Plan of Care prescribed by the provider. This inpatient role is part of a dynamic team at one of the leading healthcare institutions in the region.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
  1. Education: Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapist program required.
  2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Physical Therapist required or in compliance with the state practice act. Current BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of start date. Positions in Home Care will require a valid Driver's License with a vehicle available for work, covered by liability insurance as specified by agency policy.
  3. Experience: One year of experience working in a hospital, long-term care, home, school system, or outpatient Physical Therapy department preferred.
