General Summary

The Physical Therapist Assistant works under the supervision of the Team Coordinator and/or Clinical Specialist, with leadership from the Rehab Therapy Services Team Leader and/or Inpatient or Outpatient Manager. Responsibilities include implementing treatment programs established by a licensed PT, rotating through departmental areas or focusing on a specific service, collaborating with the healthcare team, and promoting improvements in patient care and hospital systems.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Completion of clinical internships as required by the academic program
  • Licensure from the State of DC, Board of Physical Therapy Examiners
  • Current CPR certification

Salary ranges from $25.59 to $42.22 per hour, commensurate with experience. Salary discussions may occur during screening if the range is not specified.
