Derby County Community Trust is seeking a motivated Physical Activity & Health Officer to support individuals in substance misuse recovery across Derbyshire. You will deliver person-centred sessions, run group activities and tailor physical activity programmes in community settings to improve wellbeing and long-term recovery.

The role requires enthusiasm for sport, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently within a multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Must have a DBS check (enhanced)
• Experience or commitment to health & wellbeing through sport is desirable
• Ability to work with diverse communities across Derbyshire

Responsabilités

• Deliver person-centred support through 1:1 sessions, group activities and tailored programmes in community settings
• Collaborate with specialist treatment services to support substance misuse recovery
• Engage individuals to improve physical and mental health and reduce isolation
