Job summary

Exeter City Community Trust is seeking a Health Officer to join our health team in Exeter. The role combines practical health and wellbeing session delivery with administration, participant support and programme development, working under the Health Lead to expand our local health initiatives.

The 16-hour-per-week post offers flexible hours, including some evenings, and requires a proactive, people-focused approach to run engaging activities and maintain accurate participant records.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering health and wellbeing sessions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexibly and manage a varied workload.
• Proficient with IT and standard office software.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a range of health and wellbeing sessions and workshops.
• Assist with administration, participant bookings and records.
• Support programme development and resource creation.
• Gather feedback and help improve future sessions.
• Coordinate session plans and information for funding reports.
• Maintain safeguarding, health and safety, and data protection practices.
