Photography Technician Role - Watford

Salary: GBP 26,000 to GBP 30,000 per annum

Type: Full Time, Term Time Only

About the Role

Are you a creative and technically skilled Photography Technician seeking a dynamic and rewarding role? Do you have experience supporting students in a busy secondary or post-16 photography setting? Can you confidently manage studio equipment, editing software, and darkroom processes? If so, this Photography Technician role is for you.

Responsibilities

1. Support the art and photography department with setup and maintenance of studio lighting, darkroom, and digital resources.
2. Assist with lesson preparation, student shoots, exhibition setup, and technical support across all year groups.
3. Manage equipment including Apple Macs, Adobe Creative Suite, photographic printers, and darkroom supplies.
4. Familiarity with Photoshop and Premiere Pro is essential.
5. Experience working in schools is preferred.
