Job Description

• Work with the latest turbine technology in onshore operations, driving process and rigor in our service teams.
• Provide on-site technical direction, hands-on service, and leadership during maintenance activities.
• Prepare job planning documents, define scope of work, and communicate effectively with management and colleagues.
• Implement fault analyses and repair of wind turbine generator systems in the UK, including client queries.
• Document responses, fault findings, and repairs in service reports and logbooks.
• Coordinate external and internal service providers and contractors on site.
• Maintain safety standards reflecting GE and customer requirements.
• Work and fulfill on-call obligations outside normal hours if required.
• Perform administrative functions like writing technical reports, ordering materials, and preparing job status reports.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Electrical/Mechanical Fitter, Technician, or Electrician with a recognized diploma or certificate.
• Experience with electrical test equipment and procedures.
• Strong fault-finding, diagnostic skills, and quality awareness.
• Ability to work at heights and structured with technical analytical abilities.
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office).
• Willing to travel within the UK and Europe, including training.
• Excellent English skills; valid UK driver’s license.

Desired Characteristics

• Experience leading field service teams.
• Previous experience on GE turbines.
• Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office, Project, Access).
• Basic Workplace First Aid.

Additional Eligibility

• Residence within about 1 hour of site locations (Chelveston/Kettering as initial staging).
• Right to work in the UK; sponsorship required candidates considered.
