A leading independent grammar school in Barnet is seeking an Art / Photography Teacher for Key Stage 3 and 4 starting in September 2025. The school, which follows a Jewish ethos, is undergoing positive changes and seeks a candidate to build on its successful Art department. The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge and experience in teaching photography.

About the Role - Art / Photography Teacher - Barnet, North West London

• The Art department is one which has been built since 2020 and boasts strong numbers at GCSE and A-Level.
• Results are strong at GCSE and the first A-Level cohort was certified in 2023
• There is only one Art / photography teacher in the department, being this role to be filled.
• The candidate must be able to teach Photography and have a good track record for teaching, and GCSE recruits
• The school requires an Art / photography teacher who can continue to build on this success.
• You should have strong subject knowledge of Art KS3 to KS5 and photography KS5.
• You will be responsible for the implementation and development of the Art/Photography curriculum in line with the latest pedagogical and subject based research.

• The ideal teacher will hold Qualified Teacher Status, although a teacher with the right experience but no QTS will also be considered.
