Location: Remote within the South of the UK, with regular expensed travel spanning the region
Reports to: Creative Manager
About the role
We're looking for a creative producer who combines strong filming and photography skills with advanced editing and AI-enabled content creation. You'll tell the stories of our practices, businesses and colleagues. You'll also turn existing footage into more content, using creative editing, motion design and AI tools to produce more, faster, without losing authenticity.
You'll work independently and as part of the Creative team, covering our family of practices across England and Wales south of Birmingham, with travel at least once a week. A base along the M4 corridor between Bristol and London is ideal.
You’ll take projects from idea to finished asset, covering planning, photography, filming, editing, and delivery. Your work will support marketing, recruitment, PR, social media, internal communications, events, and practice activity.
This is a remote role covering mainly England and Wales south of Birmingham, with travel to practices, businesses and events expected at least once a week. A location, roughly, along the M4 corridor, between Bristol and London, might be ideal for minimised travel.
What you will be doing
- Plan and deliver photo and video shoots across practices, events and corporate settings, featuring veterinary teams, colleagues, clients, pets, equine and large animals.
- Produce interviews, testimonials, behind-the-scenes content, campaigns and corporate stories, from brief through to delivery.
- Turn existing footage and imagery into new assets: cutdowns, social variants, reformatted and refreshed content for different platforms and audiences.
- Use AI tools to speed up and extend production, for example transcription and captioning, audio clean-up, upscaling, generative fill and extension, translation and localisation, and AI-assisted ideation and storyboarding.
- Create motion graphics, effects and creative edits that give content a distinctive, consistent VetPartners look.
- Edit, retouch and colour-grade photography and video to a high standard.
- Help shape how we use AI in creative work: test new tools, document workflows and prompt approaches, and share good practice with the team.
- Make sure AI-assisted content is accurate, on-brand, and meets our guidelines on consent, data protection and transparency.
- Work with Marketing, PR, Recruitment and other teams, managing multiple projects, equipment, schedules and files to deadline.
What we are looking for
- Professional experience in videography, photography or creative production, with a strong showreel and examples of your work.
- Confident technical skills in filming, lighting, sound and post-production.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop and Lightroom.
- Practical, demonstrable experience using AI tools in creative workflows (e.g. Adobe Firefly, generative video/image tools, AI audio and transcription tools), with sound judgement on quality, ethics and when not to use AI.
- Creative editing and effects skills, with examples of transforming existing footage into new content.
- Strong organisation, able to manage projects independently from brief to delivery.
- A confident, approachable communication style across all levels.
- Comfortable working around animals and in veterinary or clinical environments.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle; based in the South of the UK, mileage fully expensed.
Nice to have
- DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or similar.
- 360° photography or virtual tours.
- Drone experience (with relevant licences).
- Experience building repeatable AI workflows or templates for a team.
- Experience in veterinary, animal or clinical environments.
- Varied work, with no two shoots the same.
- The chance to tell meaningful stories across a national veterinary organisation.
- Space to experiment with AI and new formats and help shape our approach.
- Genuine ownership from brief to finished content.
- Remote working across the South of the UK, balancing independent and collaborative work.
- Salary: £26,000-£32,000 per annum + expensed mileage to practice sites in varied settings
- Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
