SANZA Teaching Agency is recruiting a Phonics Intervention Teaching Assistant for a large primary school in Brent, North West London. The role centres on Read Write Inc. phonics, delivering targeted interventions to small groups to boost early literacy and pupil confidence in reading.

Ideal candidates will have Teaching Assistant experience, strong English, and a passion for supporting children’s reading development in a supportive school setting.

Formación

• Experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar role
• Experience using Read Write Inc. (RWI) phonics
• Understanding of systematic synthetic phonics (phoneme-blend-segmentation)
• Experience delivering small-group interventions or supports reading development
• Strong spoken and written English with clear pronunciation

Responsabilidades

• Deliver targeted phonics interventions to small groups and one-to-one when needed
• Support phoneme recognition, blending, segmenting and early reading fluency
• Use Read Write Inc. (RWI) strategies and resources for sessions
• Support pupils with gaps in phonics to keep pace with peers
