Job summary

Philosophy Education LTD. is partnering with a Camden primary school to recruit a Teaching Assistant for a full-time phonics intervention role. You will support Year 1 pupils with Little Wandle phonics, delivering small-group sessions and fostering confidence in early reading.

Working across two Year 1 classes, you will adapt approaches to meet diverse learning needs and collaborate with teachers and other TAs to ensure consistent, high-quality support for pupils on the reading journey.

Qualifications

• Experience with Little Wandle phonics and early reading.
• Experience supporting Year 1 pupils.
• Ability to lead small-group interventions.
• Patient, enthusiastic and able to motivate reluctant learners.
• Strong collaboration with teaching staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead small-group phonics interventions for Year 1 pupils.
