The practice offers a range of general medical services, including routine consultations, chronic disease management, vaccinations, and health checks. With a patient-centered approach, the clinical team, comprising GPs, nurses, and healthcare assistants, works collaboratively to deliver compassionate care.

As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for performing venepuncture on patients in accordance with local and national guidelines, ensuring patient comfort, safety, and dignity at all times. You will also be responsible for labelling, packaging, and ensuring the safe transportation of blood samples to the laboratory.
You will play a key role in supporting the nursing and GP team by ensuring accurate and timely blood collection for routine monitoring, diagnostic purposes, and chronic disease management. The post holder must be confident, compassionate, and able to work independently, with a strong understanding of infection control, confidentiality, and record keeping.
You may also support other clinical tasks within your scope of competence and assist in maintaining stock levels, clinical room cleanliness, and assisting with general administrative duties related to phlebotomy.
