Job summary

North West Air Ambulance Charity seeks a Philanthropy & Partnerships Officer to build meaningful corporate relationships and turn conversations into long-term support. You will manage existing partners, identify new opportunities, and drive sustainable income across the northern region.

The role requires strong written and verbal communication, relationship-building skills, and the ability to work toward financial targets within a hybrid working model.

Responsibilities

• Grow sustainable income through corporate partnerships with a focus on northern areas.
• Manage and develop a portfolio of existing corporate partners; identify and nurture new opportunities.
• Attend events, develop proposals, and demonstrate impact of partner support.
• Communicate funding needs clearly and develop compelling applications and communications.
• Be an enthusiastic ambassador for NWAA and inspire organisations and individuals to support our work.

Location: Knowsley / Barton / Hybrid Working

Salary: £36,500 per annum

Working Hours: 35 hours per week (agile working between 7.00am and 7.00pm)

At North West Air Ambulance Charity, our corporate partners play an important role in helping us continue to be there for people across the North West when they need us most.

We’re looking for a Philanthropy & Partnerships Officer who can build meaningful relationships, spot opportunities and inspire businesses to get behind our lifesaving work.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves connecting with people, developing partnerships and turning conversations into long-term support.

What you’ll be doing

Working as part of our Philanthropy & Partnerships team, you’ll help grow sustainable income through corporate partnerships, with a particular focus on the northern areas of our region.

You’ll manage and develop a portfolio of existing corporate partners while also identifying and nurturing new opportunities. From networking and attending events to developing proposals and demonstrating the impact of a partner’s support, you’ll make sure our corporate relationships are engaging, rewarding and built to last.

You’ll also have the opportunity to use your writing skills to communicate our funding needs clearly and compellingly, helping us develop strong applications and communications that bring our mission to life.

Most importantly, you’ll be an enthusiastic ambassador for NWAA – confidently sharing our story and inspiring organisations and individuals to support the work we do.

• Are a confident communicator who enjoys meeting new people and building connections
• Can write compellingly and adapt your communication to different audiences
• Are comfortable working towards financial targets and managing a busy and varied workload
• Have strong organisational skills and great attention to detail
• Are proactive, creative and always looking for the next opportunity
• Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team while also being confident using your own initiative

Experience within corporate fundraising would be particularly valuable, as would knowledge of the regional business and funding landscape.

You’ll also need a full driving licence and daily access to a car for work purposes.
