Job summary

Boots UK is recruiting a Trainee Dispenser to join our store-based pharmacy team in the UK. You will support the pharmacist and healthcare professionals to ensure safe, efficient pharmacy services while training for the NVQ2 dispenser qualification.

The role offers an in-store traineeship with full training, a clear progression path into pharmacy technician roles, and a competitive hourly rate in London locations with options across the UK.

Qualifications

• Willing to complete Dispenser training programme (NVQ2).
• Current and valid UK right to work; not sponsoring Skilled Worker visas.

Responsibilities

• Complete your training for the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 programme.
• Dispense prescriptions with safe supply of medicines (ordering, labelling, endorsing, collection).
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services in-store.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist as appropriate.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with new innovations in store and comply with SOPs.
