Job summary

St John Ambulance in Ossett, West Yorkshire, invites applications for the National Medicine Supply Service Technician role. This part-time position supports NMSS stores, ensures accurate relabelling and repackaging, and maintains stock and Controlled Drug records while upholding governance standards.

You will collaborate with the NMSS Manager, travel to hubs as needed, and bring GPhC registration, CPD currency, and a full UK driving licence to ensure safe medicines handling and service delivery.

Qualifications

• Registered with the GPhC.
• Up-to-date CPD portfolio.
• Experience organising and managing medicines within governance systems.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to drive SJA vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee relabelled and repackaged medicines and maintain stock records.
• Check Controlled Drugs and ensure accurate stock control and record-keeping.
• Occasional travel to hubs or online meetings for audits, inspections and spot checks.
