We are seeking an organised and motivated registered pharmacy technician to join our cancer pharmacy team until May 2026. You will assist pharmacists and senior pharmacy technicians in providing patient-focused pharmaceutical care to cancer patients receiving chemotherapy at Forth Valley Royal Hospital. The role involves rotation through various pharmacy services for cancer patients, including aseptic preparation of anti-cancer medicines, dispensing IV and oral medicines, and supporting oncology clinics and inpatient areas with cancer medicine-related tasks.
As a cancer care pharmacy technician, you will help maintain high-quality service, minimise medicines wastage, and work closely with the multidisciplinary team, especially the chemotherapy nursing team, to ensure timely delivery of medicines to patients.
This position offers excellent opportunities for training and skill development within a supportive environment as a fully integrated member of the cancer pharmacy team.
Willingness and ability to travel throughout the service area are essential. The role includes participation in weekend and public holiday rotas.
