Job summary

JustApply is hiring a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice in Luton to join a busy pharmacy team. This role offers a clear path to become a registered Pharmacy Technician through an integrated Level 3 apprenticeship.

You will support safe supply of medicines, assist pharmacists, and help with stock control while developing practical skills and knowledge in a real-world healthcare setting. The apprenticeship blends work with blended learning and leads to eligibility to register with GPhC.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C in Maths and English are desirable.
• If Maths/English Level 2 is not held, tests may determine course suitability.
• Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship Level 3 is provided.

Responsibilities

• Managing, ordering, receiving and supplying medicines and products safely.
• Providing patient advice on prescriptions and OTC medicines.
• Supporting day-to-day running including stock control and governance.
• Supervising and supporting staff as you progress.
• Assisting training and mentoring new staff members.
• Maintaining high standards through auditing and feedback response.

LU3 2NJ We are recruiting for a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join a busy pharmacy team. This role is ideal for someone looking to progress within pharmacy and develop the skills and knowledge needed to become a registered Pharmacy Technician.

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.

For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.

About the role:

As a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice, you will support the safe, effective and lawful supply of medicines while working closely with pharmacists and the wider healthcare team. We are recruiting for a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join a busy pharmacy team. This role is ideal for someone looking to progress within pharmacy and develop the skills and knowledge needed to become a registered Pharmacy Technician.

Key responsibilities

• Managing, ordering, receiving and supplying medicines and pharmaceutical products safely and accurately
• Providing person‑centred advice to patients on prescription and over‑the‑counter medicines, referring to healthcare professionals where appropriate
• Supporting the day‑to‑day running of the pharmacy, including business processes, stock control and clinical governance
• Supervising and supporting pharmacy support staff as you progress in the role
• Assisting with training and mentoring new members of staff
• Maintaining high standards through auditing, evaluating services and responding to feedback

Apprenticeship & qualification

• Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship (equivalent to A‑level)
• On successful completion, you will be eligible to register with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
• Training delivered through a blended learning approach alongside your job
