Job summary

I & F Limited (T/A Skills4Group) is recruiting a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice in Hull. You will support safe, effective supply of medicines and work with pharmacists and the healthcare team, progressing toward a registered Pharmacy Technician.

The role offers training to Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship, with potential for full-time employment on completion and a pathway to register with the GPhC.

Qualifications

• Keen interest in pharmacy and healthcare.
• Previous experience in pharmacy industry or similar.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Managing, ordering, receiving and supplying medicines and pharmaceutical products safely and accurately.
• Providing person-centred advice to patients on prescription and OTC medicines.
• Supporting daily running of the pharmacy including stock control and governance.
• Supervising and supporting staff as you progress in the role.
• Assisting with training and mentoring new staff.
• Maintaining high standards through auditing and feedback.
