Job summary

I & F Limited (T/A Skills4Group) in Moseley/Birmingham is recruiting a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join a busy pharmacy team. This role is ideal for someone aiming to progress within pharmacy and develop the skills to become a registered Pharmacy Technician.

You will train as a Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Apprentice with blended learning and, on successful completion, may register with the GPhC and pursue a full-time role.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English desired but not essential as training can be provided.
• If Maths/English Level 2 are lacking, initial tests determine suitability for the course.

Responsibilities

• Managing, ordering, receiving and supplying medicines safely and accurately
• Providing patient advice on prescriptions and OTC medicines
• Supporting day-to-day pharmacy operations including stock control
• Supervising and supporting staff as you progress
• Assisting with training and mentoring new members
• Maintaining high standards through auditing and feedback response
