Job summary

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is launching an Apprentice - Pre-Registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician program at Band 4. This two-year fixed term contract provides fully funded training, a salary of £29,812 - £32,715 per year, and a pathway to GPhC registration as a Pharmacy Technician.

The role requires working evenings, weekends and bank holidays, with around 8–10 hours of home study weekly. Eligible candidates will have four GCSEs at grades 4–9 / A–C in English, Maths and Science.

Qualifications

• GCSEs (4–9) including English, Maths and Science.
• NVQ2 Pharmacy Services or equivalent Level 2 qualification.
• Over the Counter (OTC) sales qualification.

Responsibilities

• Labelling, dispensing and accuracy checking prescriptions.
• Learn how medicines work and what they treat.
• Order, receive and maintain pharmaceutical stock.
• Provide excellent customer care while maintaining confidentiality.
